Womp Rats are a carnivorous rodent species native to Tatooine. They are commonly found in the back-alleys of cities and towns and the vast stretches of desert across Tatooine. They are feared by settlers everywhere due to their aggressive behavior and the deadly disease that they carry that is known as Womp Rat Fever. Symptoms include: nausea, pain,and decreased Endurance (in the game). Several attempts to eradicate the species altogether have been tried, but failed miserably. Instead, it caused mutations, thus allowing the species to evolve and become twice as deadly.
