3656 BBY - The Birth of a Corporate Empire A time before the Sacking of Coruscant the business of trade was rife, with many businesses competing for particular trade routes between various star systems. The swift and brutal attack from the Sith Empire however left traders in fear and unwilling to leave the comfort of their planets to travel into deep space. During this time a newly-formed trading company stood tall above them all. They were simply known as the Galactic Trade Commission. The republic applauded their willingness to enter the farthest reaches of space to deliver vital supplies to systems that were cut off from the rest of civilization, especially during these harsh times. Their bravery it seemed knew no bounds. However there was a catch to this organization doing this dangerous deed for the galaxy. The cost for goods rose. The Galactic Credit inflation rate has increased severely over this war. With the Galactic Credit already rising at a phenomenal rate, the Galactic Trade Commission did not help matters by driving the costs of goods sky high. This has become very controversial over the course of this corporations existence. By the time the Treaty of Coruscant was signed the companies that were once too afraid to commerce with outer region planetary systems decided now was the time to re-emerge, knowing full well that although the attacks were still happening, they had decreased rapidly. However, strange occurrences started happening in the vast world of intergalactic business. Trade routes were being blocked by unmarked ships. Shipments were mysteriously disappearing. The illegal spice trade had tripled in a very short time. Pirates on the Outer-Rim territories had ceased attacking vessels so frequently. One peculiar thing that seemed to stay continuous was the growth of the Galactic Trade Commission's empire, which at this time appeared to be going from strength to strength, almost seemingly eliminating all competition. It was at this stage that the various republican committees of trade alliances started to get suspicious and were forced to ask themselves the question... ..."Was there more to the Galactic Trade Commission than meets the eye?"....
[edit] Humble Beginnings
With the civil war in full swing trade from all over the galaxy became more and more difficult. To counter the increasingly difficulty of transporting goods safely from destination to destination a young entrepreneur stepped up to face the challenge. (Founder name to be edited) formed a coalition of like minded traders and mercenaries to serve in his new company. Only after a short while did the coalition of traders transform into a Galactic organization. The business empire would endow the name of the "Galactic Trade Commission".

Information on the company hierarchy is easily accessible on their Company Community Holocron. (web address coming) High Vigo- Ruler over the corporation, (leaders name to come), has built the company from the ground up. The young but prospering enterprise is managed and governed over by this man. The 4 Vigos- There are 4 corporation managers that run and maintain the goals and operations of the company. They are the second in command before High Vigo. Captains- These are the High Officers. They are in charge of creating the preperations for each mission/deal our Employees have to do. Each one of them has a class speciality. Which specialties are those? You will find as soon as you join us. Ambassadors- These officers are in-charge of making contacts with other guilds, neutral or not. They make sure that the GTC goes well with everyone. Training Officers- These Employees have one more mission than the others. To train the new-ones to become full-time employees. Employee- Employees are the basic groundwork of the Galactic Trade Commission. These loyal beings are what bring goods from across the galaxy to your feet! Recruits- Individuals that are recently hired onto the team go under a training period. Once they reach a certain level of company knowledge they are promoted to full-time employees.
[edit] Favor Point System
That's a system to make sure that our Employees keep working. For every successful mission we grant our Employees with their reward and some "favor points". Large numbers of "favor points" grants you titles ,depend on the way you gained these points (for example: if you completed lots of RP mission you can gain the title of "Master of the Lore" or other), or higher profits. But if you fell below zero you will lose one rank or title. The "favor points" keep dropping. If you want to stabilize them you have to be active. If you want to increase them you can complete missions or "Buy" them from another member (if the other member) wants to sell. This kind of "trade" requires one Vigo to give his permission. They points of every member are written upon a board called "Skullboard" by one Vigo who is the Point System Manager.

RP-missions- Missions that begin, continue and finish only by roleplaying and not with ingame action. IG-missions- Missions that begin, continue and finish only with in-game action RP&IG-missions- Missions that begin, continue and finish with in-game action but with roleplaying style

Recruitment - The GTC are only recruiting Non-Force Sensitive players into their ranks. Roleplay - We are going to attempt to cover all types of roleplay (Light, Medium & Heavy) Ingame - Gain money and fame EVERY way possible (and we mean EVERY way possible)
